Spektrale

ARTIST BIO:
Spektrale Band Members: Baz Linnehan: Guitars, Backup Vocals Doug Linnehan: Drums, Percussion Daniel Luz: Bass, Backup Vocals Greg Watton: Lead Vocals. Spektrale is a four piece progressive rock band from Chicago, IL. The band just finished it's second album, entitled “Magic to Live: The Moon in the Sky Part 2" which will be released May 25th, 2017. This album is the second instillment of their two part conceptual project and features a new member in vocalist, Greg Watton. Greg joins original members: Baz Linnehan, Doug Linnehan, and Daniel Luz as they plan on bringing their hard hitting, psychedelic approach to progressive rock to the Chicago music scene. “Spektrale’s Music makes Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’ look like a nursery story, whilst The Prize Fighter Inferno can no longer be deemed the most imaginative band on the planet." "I’d hazard a guess that the world just simply is not ready for these kind of ludicrous tales." - album review from music blog, "The Only Thing I Know For Sure"

SONG INFO:
We wrote this song a while ago whist throwing a television out of a hotel window ... thats just how we roll.... (that "rocky" enough??) The featured guitar is a Paul Reed Smith which Baz doesn’t usually use (he’s more of a Fender Freak) but we were around the house of esteemed guitar connoisseur Marky-mark Aarons who insisted that we give it a try… what you hear is the result. The song has been featured on a couple of sync licences so far. One for Cars and one for Coffee… go figure. We’re looking to get it on a Caramel Placement next … that’ll be all the important C’s covered.
